55 TH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF INSTITUTION OF ENGINEERS (INDIA)JAMMU LOCAL CENTRE

55 th Annual General Meeting of The Institution of Engineers (India), Jammu Local Centre was held at Institutional Complex, Sector – 3, Channi Himmat, Jammu today. It was presided over by Dr. Sanjay Khar, FIE, Chairman of Jammu Local Centre. A large number of corporate members from all disciplines of Engineering attended the AGM. Er. C P Sharma, Honorary Secretary, while welcoming the members, presented the Annual Report for the year 2021-2022 and highlighted the activities of the Jammu Local Centre. Prof. Dr. Bhawna Sharma, FIE took over as the new Chairperson and Er. Sachin Tickoo, MIE as new Honorary Secretary for the session 2022 - 2023 and 2023 – 2024. Results of elections to the Committee of Jammu Local Centre for the Sessions 2022-2023 and 2023–2024 were announced by Er. B B Gupta, FIE, Convener BOS & Past Chairman of IEI, Jammu Local Centre. The Committee for the session 2022 - 2023 and 2023 – 2024. comprised of Prof. Dr. Bhawna Sharma, FIE; Chairperson, Er. Sachin Tickoo, MIE; Honorary Secretary Dr. Sanjay Khar, FIE (Past Chairman) Er. C. P. Sharma,MIE; (Past Honorary Secretary) Er. Jatinder Kr Sharma, FIE; Er. P. K. Nanda, MIE; Er. Rabinder Shekher;MIE; Er. Sudhir Sethi, MIE; Er. Anil Verma,MIE; Er. Samir Sharma,MIE; Er. Nitin Mahajan; MIE; Er. Avneet Kr. Gupta, MIE; Er. Mohinder Singh,MIE; Er. Ajay Sharma, FIE & Er. Jatinder Singh Kapoor, MIE Prof. Dr. Bhawna Sharma, FIE, the new Chairperson of the centre is a Professor in Govt. College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu. She is a Life Member of Computer Society of India, Mumbai and Life Member of Indian Science Congress, Kolkata. Er. Sachin Tickoo, MIE, the new Honorary Secretary has Graduated from Govt. College of Engineering and Technology Jammu is also MBA from University of Pune. He Joined Power Development Department of J&K in 2009 and presently serving as Assistant Engineer. Er. C P Sharma, MIE, Honorary Secretary of the centre conducted the proceedings and delivered the vote of thanks to the august gathering present on the ocassoin.

54 th Annual General Meeting of The Institution of Engineers (India), Jammu Local Centre was held at its Institutional Complex today through online and offline mode. It was presided over by Dr. Sanjay Khar, FIE, Chairman of IEI, Jammu Local Centre. A large number of corporate members from all the disciplines of engineering attended the AGM. Er. C P Sharma, Honorary Secretary, while welcoming the members, presented the Annual Report for the year 2020-2021 and highlighted the activities of the Jammu Local Centre. The audited annual account for the year 2020-21 were presented and approved. An account of various activities conducted by the Institution of Engineers India during the year which included seminars/paper meetings in which local problems were deliberated upon beside also holding International, National seminars and symposia. Er. C P Sharma, MIE, Honorary Secretary of the centre conducted the proceedings of the AGM and presented vote of thanks.
