Technician’s Chapter

A Historical Moment :- Technician's Chapter inaugurated for the first time in IEI Jammu Local Centre

The Institution of Engineers (India), Jammu Local Centre inaugurated Technician’s Chapter under its aegis on 06th May, 2014 for the term 2014 - 2016. Er. Rajinder Singh, FIE; Chairman, Er. Braj B. Sharma,FIE; Immediate Past Chairman, Er. Mohinder Singh, MIE; Honorary Secretary and Members of the Committee of Jammu Local Centre comprising of Er. Anil Verma, MIE; Er. Samir Sharma,MIE; Er. B. L. Rawal,MIE; Er. Jatinder Singh Kapoor, MIE & Er. Bhawna Sharma, MIE were present at the time of promulgation of Technician’s Chapter.

It is worthwhile to mention here that such a chapter has been formed for the first time in Jammu Local Centre. This way, it was a historic occasion for Jammu Local Centre. Pertinently, Er. Provin Bhat,AMIE had coordinated with the AMIE Students and the Honorary Secretary of Jammu Local Centre in formation of this chapter. The engineers present lauded the efforts of Er. Mohinder Singh, MIE; Honorary Secretary and Er. Provin Bhat, AMIE whose untiring efforts have borne the fruit in the shape of this chapter.

Sh. Robin Parihar was elected as Chairman and Sh. Govind Kumar was elected as Honorary Secretary of this chapter for the term 2014 - 2016. Other members of the Committee of Technician’s Chapter will be Sh. Ashwani Kumar, Sh. Sunny Sharma, Sh. Muzaffar Wani, Sh. Dev Brat Dubey, Sh. Kapil Dev Singh, Sh. Sumit Sharma, Sh. Sahibjeet Singh, Sh. Shahnwaz, Sh. Niaz Ahamed, Sh. Vijay Singh and Sh. Kishore Singh. Er. Provin Bhat, AMIE was unanimously elected as Convener of this Technician’s Chapter.

After inauguration of this chapter, Er. Mohinder Singh, MIE; Honorary Secretary proposed the vote of thanks and thanked the Committee Members of the Institution of Engineers (India) & AMIE Students for their participation.
